Mediterranean diets have grown to prominence of late. Many in the western world have marvelled at this so called ‘new way of life’.
The reality is that the basics of this way of life (yes this is what it is, more so than a diet) has been aiding the longevity of southern Europeans for centuries.
What is so special about the Mediterranean way of life?
Their diet emphasizes fruits, vegetables, nuts, plenty of fish and lean meats. This compared to the highly processed fast food, high fat and sugar diet that most Americans consume and it’s not hard to see where the problems for westerners start.
Add to this a hard, predominately labour intensive way of life verses the sedate western life and we can all see why heart disease candidates. Our fascination with weight loss products rather than intense, regular exercise is slowly killing us. Its time we stood up and took action for our own lives.
Time to get moving first, then may be a little help from an appetite suppressant like uniquehoodia.
